Yunusa Dan KARAMIR

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12: 2
The size of the brain can be limited to its container (the skull) whereas the mind is limitless in its possibilities. Anybody who has stepped up into greatness has tapped into the unlimited realm of the mind that opens up greater possibilities in terms of ideas and achievement in life. An African proverb rightly say that _“your mind is like a parachute; it only works when it's open”_. It is possible to climb the stairs of wisdom through a renewed mind regardless of one’s belief. However, the power of the transformed mind is greater. Man can be renewed in his mind, but the transformation comes from the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. Only the spirit of God has the ability to bring man to the original state of dominion that was stolen from Adam.
Daniel depicted a higher realm of transformation of the mind way greater than anybody else in the Babylonian kingdom. Daniel 1: 20 reads: “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm”. It is astonishing Daniel was compared with the highest possible standards within the kingdom. The magicians and astrologers were woven into the fabric of the Babylonian culture with their acute ability to provide knowledge that transcends human wisdom. They were held in high esteem therefore influence socio-political matters including counselling the king on the course of action to take that pertained to matters of the kingdom. Despite all their credentials and might, Daniel’s ability exceeded what the king could fathom. Your limitation is a function of the capacity of your mind. The elasticity of one's mind determines its stretch and velocity to thrust into challenges and bring about new things.
A key to Daniel’s transformation revolved around his circle of friends as “evil company corrupts good habits”. “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27: 17). Your velocity and thrust into life is directly proportional to the quality of the relationship. Does your friendship add, subtract, multiply or divide you? The vehicle that drives transformation is the decisions you take and the driver is the Holy Ghost.
